PROJECT: Stopover

A Travel Blog

about

This is a concept project, to show clients what we can produce. That means that this website wasn’t created by a request, but just with imagination.

details

This project was to show my potential clients how a personal blog can look. I took the most common features of a personal blog and created my own design. I paid close attention to details and made sure that all the colors, fonts, and backgrounds matched each other.

The blog ended up with an image header on every page. This sets the tone before the visitor starts reading. On the Home you can see 3 featured posts, an email subscribe form, recent blog posts, and a sidebar. The sidebar is the perfect place for a personal introduction and showing other products, posts, etc. Every page has a footer that is connected to an Instagram profile (which automatically updates).

steps

We started with a design that would not only be easy to maintain but easy to replicate if needed. We started with creating the header, as the mainstay of the site. The footer provided a chance to add another look into the blogger which their Instagram account can provide. The Home page and all other pages consisted of the same layout. Custom Blog Posts were used and customized to fit the particular category. The About Page allowed the bloggers the ability to tell their stories. We built the page with that in mind, using the top of the page to focus on their bio.

(Cintron, Revised)

The goal of this website project was to create an identity for a new brand as well as create a fresh and modern website where clients can book services and explore helpful resources.

The Booking Coach

This project was to show our potential clients how a site for a service provider can look. We took inspiration from other sites and used that to create our own design. We came up with a rather simple but intuitive design that provides everything a service provider would need to present to their target audience.
